This online campaign was produced for four countries: Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria and the Czech Republic.

On the website it is possible to paint ornaments, symbols or writings on the t-shirt of the female TV spot testimonial Poppy Roe. Every week the creators of the most popular shirt won a price. The leading price was awarded at the end of the campaigns runtime of six weeks. All users were able to share their individually designed t-shirts by social media like facebook or twitter. The feature Pay with a Tweet allowed to get a reduction for buying a Silan product.

The most challenging part for us was to make the t-shirt look as realistic as possible. Fort that we used the greenbox technology to optimize the visualisation of Poppy Rows body movements.

In 2013 this campaign will be continued in more countries.

<![CDATA[Creating Lizzy]]> http://www.ovos.at/en/portfolio/110,creating-lizzy.html 
In May 2011 Verbund gave us the task to create a character-design. The guidelines from our client: it should be a female robot, appealing to the target group (6-11 years).

In our first character-briefing we learnt the characteristics of the young robot: she should be both smart and cheeky, futuristic, aero-dynamic and slick. We also talked about possible tools and poses of Lizzy (that's the name of the robot).

During the development we first thought about a robot as a reference. So we took notice of Piper Pinwheeler (well-known for her role in the animation movie "Robots" by the Blue Sky Studios (Ice Age, Rio, etc.). Another reference was the Bandai Dorosseru Robot Girl as well as the robot of the remake of "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy". After trying different designs and outfits, we decided on the final design of Lizzy.

Lizzy will represent the "Stromschule", a project for classes at middle-school.

In 2009 we designed a online-train station for the new competitor on Austrian rails: the WESTbahn. In 2011 they started to drive from Vienna to Munich and backwards. So we were instructed to develope and design a relaunch of this site. The important part is a new ticket shop, which should be easy to use and absolutely intuitive.

Passengers of WESTbahn can buy their tickets either online or in the train itself. Our job was to program a complex system under an easy user interface.

(1) Conception, Wireframing and Process-definitions for the new online-portal and online-shop

At first, there was the conception: Which content should be included on WESTbahn.at? Which products will be offered? With the beginning of the process-definitions, we could start to do our first wireframes.


(2) The Design - with ongoing usability-tests and adjustments of the defined processes

We are in constant contact with the guys at WESTbahn ... and together we could relaunch the site on September 16th, 2011. Since then we have continously enhanced the portal.

We are now responsible for brand-development and the design of all web- and mobile-interfaces: website, banner-campaigns, PDF downloads, Apps and print ads.


First step: Design-Development of the Android app

At the beginning of our future cooperation, ovos developed the design for mobile applications. Therefore we were responsible for the whole design-development of the Android app, from conception, over creating wireframes, up to the final design.

The application is available at the Google Play Store for free.

It offers:

1.Augmented Reality Viewer to find places of interest in your area

2.street maps with current location information

3.access to all informations from Marco Polo, Footprint and thousands of users

4.Share your experience with friends and the whole community


Next step: Ad-Campaigns for mobile applications

We are producing ad-teasers, Banner and widgets. tripwolf is accessable in five languages and has developed to one of the top portal for travelling since their start in 2008. Therefore we've created banners in five languages (German, English, French, Spanish, Italian), which will be displayed on relevant platforms for potential new customers.

<![CDATA[Ludwig - knowledge rules the game]]> http://www.ovos.at/en/portfolio/79,ludwig-knowledge-rules-the-game.html Ludwig is a new physics game on the topic of renewable energies for adventurers aged 11 years and older. The 3D adventure will be available as of summer 2011 and will offer a new quality of physics education.

The first expansion stage will see three thematic worlds on the topic of renewable energies aimed at transferring learning content in the subject physics, grades 5 to 8. Further expansion stages will see additional thematic worlds and subjects.

The thematic worlds are entered via an online portal which supports networking between teachers and students. Via a teacher profile, teachers can also integrate additional content and teaching material and carry out statistical evaluations. Ludwig can be used both in the classroom and at home.

The interactive agency ovos has been developing Ludwig in close cooperation with internationally renowned partners since 2008. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our partners, who are advancing and supporting the development of game-based learning in Austria: Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, Arts and Culture, Danube University Krems, University Graz, University Vienna and Departure.

<![CDATA[Brainds (formerly known as Buero 16)]]> http://www.ovos.at/en/portfolio/71,brainds-formerly-known-as-buero-16.html Since February 1st, 2010, Buero 16 is called Brainds. Austria’s leading branding agency is pushing towards internationalisation and wants to compete with the top league of international branding agencies.

"Our new brand shows our development and supports our vision of growth and internationalisation", emphasizes Peter Deisenberger, founder and mastermind of Brainds.

As a branding agency naturally demands high standards of its own brand, these standards also need to be reflected in its website.

Following a presentation and several talks in September 2009, we were awarded the contract for the website, which we created in intensive cooperation with the Brainds team.

Prior to this contract, we liked to think of ourselves as design perfectionists. In the meantime, we have come to see that there is a lot of space for improvement when it comes to detailed design, typography and texture. During numerous and extensive design presentations, web aesthetics were married off to the hard and overly exact print raster thinking. This process can usually be quite tedious for an online agency. However, in this case, it turned out to be an exciting and reflexive exchange of thoughts and ideas.

For the presentation of the projects, Brainds developed a highly interesting TriCard System, a challenge for our content management system.
We feel honoured and very proud of our very own ovos-TriCard and are looking forward to a future cooperation!

<![CDATA[Augmented Christmas]]> http://www.ovos.at/en/portfolio/70,augmented-christmas.html In 2009, instead of spending money on Christmas presents or other small tokens, we donated 2000 euros to a school in the slums of Dhaka/Bangladesh, to support further operation by the Entwicklungshilfeklub (Development Aid Agency).

We informed our clients and partners about our project via a microsite, and tried to steer their attention towards "Bangladesh – A Good Way". We consider internal projects as a means of experimenting with new possibilities, so we created the project with Augmented Reality. Dirk Stermann kindly lent us his sonorous voice.

The video’s picture details show the implementation of the different outros. The animated 3D detail elements render the interactivity and the tangible game experience on www.win2day.at especially attractive.

<![CDATA[Stermann & Grissemann]]> http://www.ovos.at/en/portfolio/66,stermann-grissemann.html "Those with a taste for mindless entertainment will be in stitches", the Theatergemeinde Berlin wrote about Stermann-Grissemann. In order for the rest of the world to join in our laughter, we have built several websites for the duo since the year 2000. And sometimes we could not stop laughing ourselves.

Especially as we also work for the agency Hoanzl, one of the most renowned agencies for cabaret and small-scale performing arts in the German-speaking area. In addition to Stermann-Grissemann, Hoanzl is also the home of Josef Hader, Andreas Vitásek, Erwin Steinhauer and Heinz Marecek. The agency also implements projects for small-scale performing arts companies and theatres.

Besides creating numerous websites for artists and events, ovos also consults Hoanzl regarding e-commerce and online strategy.
